My counseling practice is primarily informed by psychodynamic, family systems and empowerment theories.  Every person has inherent strengths and therapy can help individuals identify and lean on those strengths.  I believe that looking at our past can help us to more effectively shape our future.  Each person can draw upon the wisdom past experiences.  This wisdom can help us to create the changes that they we would like to see in our lives.

My approach is tailored to each client’s need- whether you have a specific goal or are simply in need of a supportive space.  Some seek therapy because they are looking to explore patterns in their lives, while others are looking to navigate a current transition or change.  Our work together will center around diminishing the struggles that you feel and increasing your enjoyment of life. I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions including CBT, EMDR, and Mindfulness practices.
